Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:
$121,600 - $128,000
Job Summary
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for overseeing regional accounts with medium volume purchase potential. They accomplish this by focusing on developing, maintaining, and improving partner relationships, managing margins, and maximizing the product assortment and sell through. They travel to stores to see how the product is displayed and sold, partnering with the field sales rep for follow up training as needed.

Regional Account Managers will meet with account buyers, merchants, and executives to discuss their needs and how Purple can grow their business.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and maintain superior partner experiences making Purple the preferred mattress vendor.
  • Collaborate with Partner Success Specialists / Operations team to provide clear and timely communication about product, logistics, warranties, and delivery.
  • New Account Onboarding, training, and setup
  • Partner with Operations Manager and Forecast Analyst regarding product demand.
  • Participate in regular business review with accounts to grow the account
  • Manage and review our retail partners marketing efforts to expand Purple’s brand awareness in partnership with Channel Marketing Manger
  • Manage P&L within account by staying on budget with expenses and increasing revenue
  • Develop Relationships with Executive Leadership teams to discover and implement strategies to increase Purples Balance of Share (BOS)
  • Partner with Field Sales Representatives to maintain / increase Purple product sell through
  • Manage executive retail relationships and conflicts that arise from Purple DTC, Owned Retail, and Wholesale
  • Continue to learn, grow, and develop individually and as a team

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or 3+ years equivalent experience in Sales Management
  • Computer and Software expertise (Salesforce, Outlook, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • This position requires extensive travel.
  • Legal contract and negotiation skills
